Open Positions

1. We are currently recruiting for the 2026 intake at the School of Atmospheric Sciences, Nanjing University: two Ph.D. students and one M.S. student under Professor Huiling Yuan. Strong coding skills and a background in atmospheric sciences are preferred. Additional Ph.D. and M.S. openings are available through collaborating faculty at the Nanjing-Helsinki Institute.
2. We are also recruiting one to two postdoctoral researchers or full-time research staff to work with Professor Huiling Yuan on deep-learning-based weather prediction, including AI weather models, data assimilation, numerical modeling, and machine learning methods.

1. Are genuinely interested in weather models and AI-based forecasting and want to build things hands-on.
